| InEurope application now open, for intra-Europe short stays |

| The InEurope application is now open for travel anytime between January and March 2011. The aim of the programme is to increase intra-European mobility of young researchers by providing grants for short, goal-directed exchanges within European laboratories. Application deadline: September 30, 2010. |

| SfN-IBRO Travel Grant winners announced |
|
| Twenty-nine young investigators will receive travel grants to present their poster at the Society for Neuroscience (SfN) Annual Meeting in San Diego, USA, and two will receive funding from the IBRO-NIDA Travel Grants Programme. |

| Wikipedia initiative - language issues |

| IBRO wishes to identify contact persons from the various Neuroscience Societies - or perhaps across the Central and Eastern European region - who might be prepared to translate some material into the major language of the country for Wikipedia. The initial purpose would be to have someone write a brief introduction to link from Wikipedia to the IBRO webpages. |

 A collaboration between IBRO and FENS. Aimed at training students and young investigators throughout Europe, the FENS-IBRO European Neuroscience Schools Progamme organizes Neuroscience Schools that were previously sponsored by IBRO's European Regional Committees and the FENS Schools Committee. | NARSAD The Brain and Behaviour Research Fund |
|
| NARSAD offers grants to scientists conducting psychiatric disorders research at a university or non-profit research institution. Since 1987, NARSAD has awarded over $257 million in the form of 3,790 research grants. Both U.S. and international applicants are eligible to apply. |
